Sue-Ming Frauenhofer
is a Chinese adoptee director, producer, and AD based in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoys bringing stories to life that explore loneliness through absurdity, surrealism, and dark humor. She recently worked in production for Before I Do (Newfest & Frameline 2026) and Take Me Home (Sundance & Berlinale 2026). She is currently in post-production for her next directed short Glass Tigers, and for the upcoming feature Thirstygirl (dir. Alexandra Qin).
